A gap we can close together.
For children who receive free school meals, the end of term can mean losing an important daily meal. Food shopping stretches further, children are at home all day, and the costs add up. Building on our Christmas campaign, Impact Buckingham expanded its focus to summer holiday support in 2026.
Support, without the stigma.
We work hand in hand with local schools, who know their families best. School staff identify the households most in need using their professional knowledge and Pupil Premium records. Families do not have to approach the charity or explain their circumstances to us, and we hold no personal data about the families we support.
Choice makes a difference.
In summer 2026, 149 supermarket vouchers, each worth £75, supported families at Lace Hill Academy, George Grenville Academy and Bourton Meadow Academy. Each family could choose the supermarket that suited them best. Schools passed the letters on directly and no family details were shared with us. There were no strings attached and nothing to repay.
Keep the care close to home.
Every donation supports families in Buckingham and the surrounding villages. Our founders and trustees cover running costs separately, so public donations can go towards family support. A one-off gift, regular donation or sponsored fundraiser all help this work continue.
