75 Hampers Delivered: Our First Festive Campaign

We launched in December 2025 — originally registered as Mitre Impact — with a single goal: to put a proper Christmas dinner on the table for local families facing financial hardship. In just four weeks, our community came together to make it happen.

We packed and distributed 75 festive hampers to Pupil Premium families through partner schools across Buckingham — each one containing fresh meat, vegetables, festive trimmings, chocolates, crackers and all the Christmas extras, worth an average of £39 per family.

It was a true community effort. 63 Gift Aid donors, 81 online donations, generous direct contributions, a Carols at The Mitre collection and goods donated by The Mitre Pub all added up to £4,813 in community generosity. Every penny went into the hampers or into our reserves for 2026 — no admin costs, no salaries.

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, packed and delivered. We carry £1,813 forward to support our work in 2026, including our planned expansion into summer holiday support.
